About me

Raashad Wilkes was born March 15, 1994, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Wilkes watched his grandmother, Dora Jane cook for many years and one faithfully thanksgiving his grandmother went to sleep, and it was all up to him to save Thanksgiving. Wilkes knew how important thanksgiving was to the family, so it was something very serious. From then on Wilkes understood at a young age his hunger for putting a smile on people’s face through the power of his cooking.

Wilkes was uprooted from St. Louis to Tampa Florida where he finished the remainder of his high school career. He then when on to obtain 2 associate degrees in culinary arts and culinary management. Unfortunately, grandma wasn’t able to see this monumental achievement; the sole reason he began this was to showcase his art and love for cooking with his grandmother.

With a heavy heart He then began his journey to hone his skills becoming an EC for PF changs and The Blue Bird. Where he gained extensive knowledge on how to run and operate a successfully restaurant. Wilkes founded Raa2Riches LLC DBA Rich Homey Bites in 2024 where he took pride in changing the Narrative of “Healthy food being nasty and expensive”.
